Since our founding in 1830, we have continued to welcome the challenge of new possibilities while preserving Japanese traditions.
Corporate History
- 1830
- Started production and sales of koji miso in Nagoya. Began production and sales of shiro miso (white miso).
- 1931
- Established a mame miso factory in Nishibiwajima-cho. Began selling mame miso.
- 1965
- Company reorganized as Nakamo Co., Ltd.
- 1971
- Established Nakamo Real Estate Co., Ltd.
- 1983
- Began hotel business in Nagoya City. Currently operating three hotels
- 2007
- Entire company acquired ISO9001 certification.
- 2023
- FSSC22000 certification acquired by head factory.
- 2023
- SANUKI SHOKUHIN KOUGYOU Co., LTD. has joined the group.
